We are excited to announce that this year’s Miners Reunion Lunch will be taking place on Monday, 2nd September 2024 at the beautiful and historic Old Down Inn in Emborough, Radstock. This is a wonderful opportunity for former miners and members of the Somerset Miners Welfare Trust to reconnect, reminisce, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon in a relaxed, friendly setting.
The event will kick off at 12:00 PM, where you’ll be welcomed to The Old Down Inn, a charming country pub, known for its warm atmosphere.
At 12:30 PM, we will sit down to a simple yet delicious lunch of ham salad. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance so we can make alternative arrangements.
The Miners Reunion Lunch is always a special event on the calendar, giving everyone the chance to catch up, share laughs, and relive fond memories of the past. Whether you worked together in the mines or simply share a connection through the trust, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the bonds that unite our community.
